Miss Moose
It has been at least 5 years since the last Miss Moose. This event is held in conjunction with the Moose Lodge. It is something like a beauty contest, without any beauty. The guys get dressed up in drag and everyone else gets to vote for their favorite contestant. Tickets will be sold for the meal and anyone is welcome to attend. Invite your friends and family.
I will provide the details once they have been finalized.
The date for this fabulous event will be Saturday March 17th.
Phone Tree
We have put together a form, for anyone who prefers to be contacted by phone, regarding any events or chapter news. Also, anyone who would like to volunteer to assist in making these phone call are greatly appreciated.
Riding Vests
We are looking into how much it would cost for black denim vests that we could use for daily riding and attending non-GWRRA events. If any of you might have any contacts or ideas, that would assist in displaying our presence would be appreciated.
Officer Certification Program (OCP)
At our February or March gathering I would like to arrange for this training program to be presented to the chapter. It is a very informative session outlining the beginning and continuing success of the Association. It will shed some light on what the responsibility of the Chapter, District and Region Staff are. I would like to know if the chapter as a whole would be willing to spend the rest of a Sunday after our regular breakfast to complete this course.
Next gathering will be January 15th, 2012
