June 19th Minutes

Good Morning & welcome to our Guests:
We have Region K Directors: Bob & Carolyn Pinet, Nancy & Mike from Chapter ON-M and Henry.

Since our last gathering there has been many events. May 23 was Victoria Day, we hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend. The Forbidden Run was May 28th. May 29th was the Niagara Ride for Dad and also the Kitchener Fun Run. June 4th was the Highway of Heroes Ride and June 6th to June 11th was Americade in Lake George, NY. As well, there were a few local rides posted on the bulletin board of our web site.

• Owen Sound´s Chapter O is having their 10th Annual Charity Poker Run for Arthritis on Saturday, June 25th. Registration starts at 9am at the Blue Water Curling Club in Owen Sound.
• New Liskeard Biker´s Reunion is coming up July 1 - 3rd
• Wing Ding is July 6 - 9th in Knoxville, TN
• Region K Rendezvous is July 29 - 31st in Limoges, ON

Bob Pinet then took the floor to thank Troy & Peggy Robins for their hard work over the past 3 years and announced that they were stepping down as Chapter Directors. They were presented their retirement rockers. The new CDs: Wayne & Laurie Gott were then sworn in.

David Bowman then said a few words regarding bike tires. Apparently, the Pilot GT will no longer be available in North America. David talked about the Avon Venom as a possible alternate as they´ve had good reviews. He also mentioned that there is a new Time Out trailer dealer in our area. Trucks N Stuff in St Catharines is now handling these.

This month´s Share the Wealth draw was won by Glen Mills for $45.

Next Month´s meeting is July 17th.
